La Mer hotel
La Mer Hotel provides visitors a place for rebirth. Guests will be refreshed and renewed by experiences. Interior spaces are inspired by the ocean life cycle and the movement of waves.
Designing boutique hotel with LA MER brand in Plam Spring
Refresh, Healing, Transforming
The journey to La Mer’s creation began when Dr. Max Huber suffered burns. He was inspired by the healing power of the oceanic world. Huber fermented nutrient-rich sea kelp with other natural ingredients. After numerous experiments, Creme de la Mer was born. The product line is very soft and light and helps to slow the aging of the skin.

Spiral copper represents purity and clarity.
Clean and refreshed, the curve of the space wraps around you.
Lounge
On the lower level, the feeling of flowing ocean water is repeated with a porcelain surround with added vista windows providing ambient sunlight.

Swimming pool
The swimming pool, garden and fountain are surrounding by water and the big picture window. This connects the space with the lobby and adds openness and a connection to the outdoors.
Guestroom corridor
White curved walls connect the space. The light illuminates the ground and the texture of the wall. A small spotlight will light when you are in front of the door and give you the feeling that you are entering the water.
Suite
Copper represents pureness, and appears in moments throughout the room. When in the bath, the reflection of water on the copper surface will relax you. The bath is the center of the space, where you can purify mentally and physically.
